Take on the ultimate Dolomite challenge by climbing Mount Cevedale—Trentino’s highest peak and the crown jewel of the Cevedale Group! Straddling three stunning valleys (Martello, Peio, and Valfurva), this adventure delivers show-stopping Alpine views over the Ortles and Gran Zebrù that you’ll remember forever. Set off from Val Martello and ascend rocky moraines, snowy ridges, and wind-carved glaciers on a two-day trek. The path up Cima Cevedale and to the main summit is about conquering altitude, pushing your limits, and having a whole lot of fun along the way. After a night in a welcoming mountain hut, fuel up and head for the summit with a pro guide who’ll keep you safe and smiling. Day 1
Hike to High Alpine Refugio
Today, you’ll meet your UIAGM / IFMGA-certified mountain guide at the trailhead to begin your adventure. Your guide will lead you on an ascent through woods and meadows, up to your rifugio for the night (2,610m / 8,563’). As you gain elevation, the path transitions from lush greenery to a more rocky and steep high-mountain environment. Once you arrive, you’ll have ample time to relax, unwind, and admire the stunning views of the surrounding peaks, including the Cevedale and the Gran Zebrù. In the evening, enjoy a delicious traditional mountain dinner featuring South Tyrolean favorites like canederli and speck before settling in for the night.

Day 2
Glacier Trek & Mount Cevedale Summit
Rise and shine, and get ready for the highlight of your trip! After breakfast, you’ll head off with your guide, who’ll lead you through the most challenging and rewarding section of the climb. You’ll start by crossing rocky moraine terrain before reaching the glacier edge (approx. 2,900m / 9,514’), where you’ll gear up with crampons and form a roped team. The route ascends diagonally toward the Cevedale Pass (3,460m / 11,352’), offering spectacular scenes of the Gran Zebrù and the Ortles-Cevedale massif. Once you’re ready, your guide will navigate the final steep slopes to reach the summit of Mount Cevedale (3,769m / 12,365’). At the top, you’ll be rewarded with jaw-dropping panoramic views of the Central Alps, from the Dolomites to the Austrian Alps, before you head back down along the same route.
