Itinerary

Val Gardena is a valley that earns its UNESCO World Heritage status every single day. Hemmed in by the Sella Massif to the south, the soaring Odle spires to the north, and the jagged Cir Peaks directly above, the scenery does most of the talking.
Your day starts on an e-bike, gliding through one of the most beautiful alpine valleys in the Dolomites, with electric assistance taking the sting out of the climbs. It's the perfect warm-up! You'll soak in the Ladin villages and sweeping valley views and arrive at the base of the day's next adventure with energy to spare.
The next adventure is the Via Ferrata Piccolo Cir. One of the most accessible and rewarding routes in the area, it scales the south face of the iconic Cir Group, which punctuates the skyline above the Gardena Pass (2,121m / 6,959'). A steel cable guides you safely to the summit, and your certified guide handles the decisions so you can stay fully present in the experience. The views from the top take in the full panorama of Val Gardena, the Sella Massif, and the peaks of the Puez-Odle Natural Park. It's a wonderful summit that doesn't demand a lifetime of climbing experience. Read through the program below and send your request to our expert team. Start planning your day in Val Gardena!

What You Need to Know

Layering for Mountain Weather
Summer temperatures can hit 80°F / 25°C in the valleys but drop to 60°F / 15°C on summits during the day and as low as 30°F / 0°C in the evening. For every 1,000 feet climbed, the temperature drops by 3.6°F (6.5°C per 1,000 meters). Layer up with synthetic fabrics like polypropylene or wool - they wick moisture, dry fast, and provide effective insulation with a lightweight feel. Mountain weather is unpredictable, and swift temperature drops during sudden storms can be dangerous if unprepared. Always pack rain gear.

Footwear Tips
Break in new boots or shoes before your trip. Pack blister protection like Band-Aid Blister Block - even familiar footwear can cause trouble on long days. Sturdy ankle support is essential for via ferrata approaches and descents.

Cycling Apparel Tips
Wear comfortable cycling clothes suitable for all-day wear, providing protection from cold and possibly wet weather. Use your judgment on quantities based on expected weather and luggage restrictions.

Saddle Time
Being on a bike all day is wonderful, but if you're not used to it, you may get sore! Spend as much time on your bike as you can before the trip, and you'll enjoy it far more.

Trekking Poles
Recommended for those who need knee support on descents and added stability on via ferrata approaches. Practice with one or two before the trip.

Safety and Security
Your guide will carry a comprehensive bicycle repair kit. Repair sprays are not recommended.
