Itinerary
Everyone loves Dolomite mountain cheese, but few know how it's made. This full-day experience takes you behind the scenes. You'll watch an authentic cheesemaker at work, learn traditional techniques passed down through generations, and make your own cheese wheel from curd to finished product. But cheesemaking is just the start! After the dairy, head to a Rock Climbing Centre in Cortina. Fuel up with a light lunch (sandwich and drink), then spend an hour with a professional instructor learning indoor climbing basics.
The afternoon closes at an organic Farm in San Vito di Cadore. The farm preserves Cadore's agricultural heritage, raising endangered breeds of goats and chickens and cultivating crops using traditional methods. Your guided tour reveals their commitment to sustainability and local traditions. End the day with a generous snack of farm-produced cold cuts and cheeses, plus an aperitif!
