Itinerary

Calling all hiking and food lovers! Welcome to farm-to-table paradise surrounded by some of the most beautiful peaks in the entire Alpine region. Think fragrant pine forests, wildflower meadows, clear mountain streams, and incredible panoramas of the majestic Dolomites. It's a gentle hike designed for all fitness levels. The exact route will depend on the group, the season, and conditions on the day.
Then, you'll go behind the scenes at a renowned organic dairy farm, one of the most respected small-scale mountain cheese producers in the Cadore area. Since 2004, the farm's cows and goats have spent their summer months at 1,800m / 5,905', feeding on alpine herbs and grasses that give the milk and cheese its distinctive character. The cheese-making workshop takes you from fresh milk through to a finished form you take home. Then in the afternoon, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch where they carefully curate every course around their mountain milk. It's a wonderfully immersive experience with outstanding views to boot.

What You Need to Know
Layering for Mountain Weather Summer temperatures can hit 80°F / 25°C in the valleys but drop to 60°F / 15°C on summits during the day and as low as 30°F / 0°C in the evening. Layer up with synthetic fabrics like polypropylene or Capilene®—they wick moisture and dry fast. Wool or wool/synthetic blends work too. Always pack rain gear; mountain weather changes fast.
Footwear Tips Break in new boots or trail running shoes before your trip. Pack blister protection like Band-Aid Blister Block—even old shoes can cause trouble on long days.
Trail running shoes are built for off-road terrain with deeper lugs, aggressive tread, and stiffer soles to protect against rocks and roots.
Trekking Poles Recommended for those that need knee support on descents and added stability. Practice with one or two before the trip. Price is around €45 per stick. Not required for everyone, but they help.
