Itinerary

Wait until the sun drops. That's when the Dolomites get quiet and the real magic starts. Strap on your snowshoes and head out with an expert guide under the moon. The snow reflects the light. The air is cold and still. You'll move through silent forests and open meadows with just the crunch of snow under your feet and the moonlight showing you the way. This is for couples and families looking for something different. Anyone who wants to see what winter feels like when everything else stops. We only run this on full moon nights, when the light is just right and the Dolomites look like nowhere else on earth. Join us after dark. It's a different mountain up here! Snowshoeing Adventure at Night in the Dolomites

Wait for the full moon. That's when we go. Your guide will lead you from Alta Badia through snow-covered forests and gentle meadows. The route is quiet. The views are wide. The moon does the work. You'll snowshoe for about 1.5 hours through the stillness of the winter night. No crowds, no noise. It's just the Dolomites under moonlight. Finish with a warm drink at a mountain hotel before heading back to Cortina. We only run this experience during full moon nights, when the light is right for snowshoeing without headlamps.

      (1.5 hours snowshoeing, 3.3 km / 2 miles, 170m / 560' ascent and descent.)
