Day 1

Arrival & First Ascent

Meet in Ströden, the gateway to the beautiful Mauertal Valley in Hohe Tauern National Park. After a quick briefing and gear check, you’ll head out for your first ski mountaineering adventure. Begin your guided ski ascent through tranquil forests and alpine meadows, surrounded by Austria’s untouched mountain scenery. Settle in at your alpine base and take in views of the dramatic peaks ahead.
Day 2

Ski Tour Glacier Traverse

Set off toward the breathtaking Maurer Törl Pass, one of the highest points on your journey, with sweeping panoramas of glaciers and legendary peaks like Großvenediger in sight. Enjoy challenging ascents and thrilling descents before turning in for a restful night in the heart of the Alps.
Day 3

Großvenediger Summit Day

The highlight of the trip is an early morning climb to the top of Großvenediger, one of Austria’s most iconic peaks. Celebrate on the summit with sprawling views over the Hohe Tauern, then descend toward the valley. Transfer to Kals beneath the mighty Großglockner to recharge for your next adventure.
Day 4

Ski Tour to the Foot of Großglockner

After breakfast in Kals, drive up to Lucknerhaus and begin your ski tour toward the stunning Großglockner massif. Enjoy wide alpine views and the quiet beauty of this legendary region, resting up by evening in preparation for the big summit day.
Day 5

Großglockner Summit & Farewell

Take on Austria’s highest peak with a thrilling ascent of the Großglockner. Navigate icy slopes and ridges, then savour unmatched 360° views from the summit, crossing over the surrounding Central Alps. Descend back to the valley, heading home full of stories and mountain pride.
