Expert Sass Rigais Summit Day: E-Bike & Via Ferrata
A demanding and rewarding day combining e-bike riding, mountain hiking, and via ferrata climbing in one of the most iconic landscapes of Val Gardena. The route leads toward Sass Rigais, the highest summit of the Odle range and one of the most distinctive mountains in the area, rising above dramatic limestone walls and Alpine meadows. The e-bike, hike, and via ferrata are each moderate on their own. Add them together at 3,025m / 9,924' with limited escape routes and you're looking at a genuinely demanding day that requires stable weather and solid fitness. Designed for active mountain enthusiasts, the day offers a complete immersion into the Dolomite environment, combining effort, panoramic landscapes, and the satisfaction of reaching a 3,025m / 9,924'.3,000m / 9,843' peak.
(E-bike: ~2,5 hours, 8,5km / 5,3 miles, 619m / 2,031' ascent, 155m / 509' descent one way. Hike: ~1 hour, 2,5km / 1,6 miles, 326m / 1,069' ascent one way to reach the via ferrata. Ascend a moderate 670m / 2,198' via ferrata.)
