Cortina d'Ampezzo, two days of hiking and milk

Welcome to paradise! Cortina d’Ampezzo is surrounded by some of the most beautiful peaks in the entire Alps and, not surprisingly, is named “The queen of the Dolomites”. The Ampezzo Valley is wide, generated by an ancient glacier and crowned by the massifs of Cristallo, Sorapis, Tofane, Croda da Lago and Pomagagnon, just to name a few of them.

Your adventure will begin with a day exploring the natural wonders of this area, led by a professional alpine guide. You will fall in love with the fragrant forests and the vibrant green meadows, the breathtaking landscapes and the streams of unpolluted water. From the very evening, at the end of your excursion, you will discover that these places create addiction!

On the second day, you will discover one of the typical mountain products, cheese. You will visit the farm and the diary of Piccolo Brite where, since 2004, animals have been bred naturally: cows and goats are fed with genuine products and spend the summer grazing at 1800 meters. The outcome of these attentions is a product of the highest quality, processed by the factory in a traditional and artisanal way but with modern tools. You will have the opportunity to learn how the famous mountain cheese is produced from freshly milked milk and to put this teachings into practice by producing your own cheese wheel, starting from the curd.

Later, at the farmhouse of the farm named el Brite de Larieto, you will enjoy a truly unique menu where in each course the mountain milk will be the main ingredient.
