Itinerary

The Cinque Torri rise above the Falzarego Pass at approximately 2,200m / 7,218', forming a stunning natural amphitheater beneath the Averau massif. Dozens of pinnacles, spires, and towers create a vast limestone playground with hundreds of routes — from gentle introductory pitches for families and beginners to demanding lines for skilled climbers.
You'll begin on a scenic path from Bai de Dones, hiking through forests and alpine meadows to the dramatic base of the towers. Your certified UIAGM/IFMGA guide selects routes tailored to your experience, coaching movement, rope work, and safety. Between climbs, you'll discover this area is both a climbing paradise and a living WWI museum. Restored trenches and observation posts from the Italian-Austro-Hungarian front line still thread through the rocks below the routes.
After your time on the wall, enjoy a well-earned merenda, or light lunch, at a renowned rifugio with sweeping views. Then sit back and let the chairlift carry you back down. What You Need to Know

Layering for Mountain Weather Summer temperatures can hit 80°F / 25°C in the valleys but drop to 60°F / 15°C on summits during the day and as low as 30°F / 0°C in the evening. Layer up with synthetic fabrics like polypropylene or Capilene®—they wick moisture and dry fast. Wool or wool/synthetic blends work too. Always pack rain gear; mountain weather changes fast.

Footwear Tips Break in new boots before your trip. Pack blister protection like Band-Aid Blister Block—even old shoes can cause trouble on long days.

Trekking Poles Recommended for those that need knee support on descents and added stability.
